The three Directors Paul, Jackie and Nikki formed the business in 1993. Marketing Director Paul has spent 30 years in the embroidery and textile industries. He was one of the innovators in the embroidery world as the industry took off in the late 1970s.
Son Alex is doing a master's degree at Nottingham University Business School as well as playing a vital part in the marketing and online development of the business.
All aspects of the company are personally supervised by the Directors who have been pleased and rewarded by the continued growth and success.
Production/Design Director Nikki, who has 20 years experience in the industry, ensures our embroidery and print quality is second to none. We continue to invest in the latest software and machinery to keep Banana Moon at the top.
Ably assisted by family members Jenny and Marion in Sales administration, we still retain and enjoy a flexible and friendly attitude. Indeed we all like to think the customers are treated the way we like to be treated ourselves.
Jackie is the Company Secretary and her business qualifications and accounting background stand her in good stead for the rapidly changing legal/financial framework of business in the 21st century. She also has 20 years experience in the industry and, like Nikki, understands all aspects of the personalised clothing market.
Banana Moon Workshop are shortly to move to a purpose built workshop between Leeds and Bradford. Plans are well in hand to further expand our in house production and design facilities, which will enable continued expansion.
